Use the COGS and profitability report
This report reuses the inventory module so accountants can connect product-level cost inputs to a month-end reporting workflow without posting any inventory adjustments.
What the report shows
- - Estimated COGS and gross profit.
- - Margin percentage by SKU.
- - Top products by profit and negative-margin rows.
- - Missing cost and stale-cost warnings.
Important limitations
- - Profitability is estimated from cost data provided or imported by the user.
- - Multi-currency cost conversion is not implemented in this phase.
- - Review results with an accountant before relying on them for final books.
