Import product costs
Cost rows are effective-date based. LedgerSync uses the applicable cost for the transaction date and warns when costs are stale, missing, or require weighted-average layers that are not available yet.
Supported cost methods
- - standard_cost
- - manual
- - last_purchase_cost
- - weighted_average when cost layers exist
CSV guidance
- - Use columns like sku, unit_cost, currency, cost_method, and effective_from.
- - LedgerSync validates the cost amount and currency before storing the row.
- - If the cost is older than 180 days, the UI shows a stale-cost warning.
