Getting started with LedgerSync

LedgerSync is built to keep finance teams in control. Start with sandbox or demo connections, import sample data, review mappings, and preview everything before posting.

Recommended setup order

  • - Connect QuickBooks Online Sandbox or Xero Demo Company first so account and item lists are available for mapping.
  • - Connect Shopify or Stripe next and confirm the integration status in the app workspace.
  • - Import sample data, normalize records, and create mapping suggestions before generating your first preview.
  • - Review exceptions and only use sandbox posting after you understand the preview output.

What the first successful workflow looks like

  • - Connect accounting destination
  • - Connect Shopify or Stripe
  • - Import sample data
  • - Generate mapping suggestions
  • - Review sync preview
  • - Resolve blocking exceptions
  • - Approve and post to sandbox or demo only
Production accounting posting remains disabled unless it is explicitly enabled later.

What to expect next

After your first preview is ready, you can move into payout reconciliation, approval workflows, schedules, and webhook-driven refreshes. Marketplace reviewers should stay inside sandbox or demo flows during evaluation.
