Connect Xero Demo Company
LedgerSync uses Xero OAuth 2.0 with offline access and accounting-read scopes. The connection is intended for demo company or allowlisted tenant evaluation, not unrestricted production posting.
Tenant selection
- - LedgerSync prefers the Xero demo company when multiple tenants are available.
- - If an allowlist is configured, only explicit tenant IDs are eligible for posting.
- - Read-only imports still help mappings and previews even when posting is disabled.
What LedgerSync imports
- - Organisation info for connection verification.
- - Accounts for revenue, clearing, refund, fee, and tax mapping.
- - Items for product and SKU matching where available.
Demo posting safety
Preview generation and approval still happen before any demo-company write. Posting remains disabled unless the environment explicitly enables sandbox/demo posting rules.
