LedgerSync FAQ
These are the short answers to the questions teams ask most often during setup, review, and sandbox testing.
Common questions
- - Do I need QuickBooks or Xero connected first? Yes. Account imports make mapping much more useful.
- - Can LedgerSync post to production books? No. This build keeps accounting posting restricted to sandbox or demo destinations.
- - Does LedgerSync read Stripe payouts directly? Yes, plus balance transactions, refunds, and disputes for preview and reconciliation.
- - Can I review everything before posting? Yes. Preview and approval are first-class steps.
- - Can client approvers review previews? Yes, when the client workspace approval policy requires or allows it.
Reviewer and demo questions
- - Can I evaluate the app without live production data? Yes. Use sandbox/demo connections and the optional review demo workspace.
- - Does demo data come from real customer accounts? No. Review-demo content must be labeled as demo data only.
